All told, I've been shooting blackpowder for about 23 years. I shoot flintlocks, percussion, and blackpowder cartridge. I used to do Civil War reenacting, but now I focus on Colonial, circa 1780, and Old West, circa 1875. My impressions for each of those eras are intense and detailed, down to the buttons and thread....<br />

Besides being heavy into Living History and shooting a variety of blackpowder firearms, I also enjoy antique shopping, museums, horseback riding, good books, and good movies, especially if they are historically based. I write (published) for the Old West era as well.<br />
