    Cap and ball revolver firing bird shot

    I didn't read the whole thread but do load 1861 .44 with shot as a snake load. 20grn prodex, a couple shot cards, a .45acp casing worth of #6 fills it up (#6 is just my preferred squirrel shot so I have a few sacks laying around), add another shot card, pack it down a little and top with Crisco...

    Navy Arms Pietta double Barrel

    That's the difference between the kit and factory assembled versions. Same with the Pedersoli kits today, the kit stocks don't come checkered have to DIY if you want it.

    New to me powder horn

    Looks like a slightly stylized R.H. to me. hornguild.org has a Richard Hujsa listed. I can't find any examples of his horns online, only an obituary from 2019, but maybe someone has access to that sites online museum or you might try their "I have this old horn" link and send the pictures to them.

    Birdshot pouch

    Not primitive at all but I find aluminum beer bottles work well enough for #6. The narrow mouth michelob/bud light ones easier to pour than the wide mouth coors/miller. Just throw it in the possibles bag, haven't really noticed it being too noisy.
