Are Some BP Revolvers Just Not Reasonably Accurate?
Those who have told you that your cylinder mouth might be to small is spot on. I have had Uberti 1858 Remington reproduction that shot patterns at 25 yards of 12- 16” at 25 yards . I the chamber mouths measured .444-.446 The barrel measured .450 I got a .451 reamer and reamed the chamber... -

Lack of cylinder safety pins
You can put your own pins in the cylinder ..I bought a gun where the pins were broken off by a fanning idiot. the cylinders are soft enough to drill your own holes and put pins in. -

How fast can BP revolvers be reloaded?
Not trying to be funny ,,but trying to load a cap and ball revolver fast is harder than kissing a chicken on the lips. I have been shooting cap and balls for close to 50 years and never attempted to load one fast or had the need to load one fast. But if I needed more than 6 rounds ,,I would do... -

Modern shotgun barrel conversion
took an old jammer sxs and made brass plugs 1” long for chamber then drilled and pinned them in place amd also silver solder them so they could not be taken out . I also cut the stock down to just a pistol grip amd cut the barrels to 12“ . Uses shotgun primers . pistol grip is a bit to straight...- m-g willy

A short arbor has a lot to do with accuracy. In fact if the arbor is not seated tight against the frame you will never get consistent “ good” accuracy. If your targets are man sized targets at spitting distance then yes arbor fit isn’t no big deal. But at those distances and size of targets... -

Percussion Wheel Gun Accuracy
I had a Uberti with .447 chamber mouths and a .45 bore,,It shot 12”+ patterns at 25 yards,, Once I checked the bore and chamber mouths I got a .451 reamer and after reaming the cylinder mouths my groups shrunk to less than 3” at 25 yards,,and that is shooting while on my hind legs with a two...
