    Are T/C barrels interchangeable?

Depends on the caliber some are 1" and some are smaller

Leaving a powder and bullet charge in the barrel

I've been using dad's Renegade since he passed on 2005. I usually load it in October for PA's week of anterless muzzleloadin' and if I don't shoot then I leave it for flintlock season after Christmas. It always shoots and I always clean it after my last trip for flintlock.

T/C stock finish and its removal

Most of us live around Acetone being used under conditions of poor ventilation. It is the chief ingredient of nail polish remover! I do advise using it in a well ventilated location since you are using a larger quantity than the small portion your wife uses on that cotton ball to remove her...

    TC Fiber Optic Sights Wiggle

I just pulled out my .54 Renegade and the rear FO sight I installed a few years ago does not move. I had researched them on the T/C web sight and then purchased the sights at a local shop using the part numbers I found on line. The adjustment ramp does move up to allow you to reach the mounting...

    history international-baker rifle

I've read a few stories, historical fiction, about a British officer named Richard Sharpe. After returning from service in India, he ends up in command of an attachment of the 95th Rifle equipped w/ the baker rifles. The historical research by the author is incredibly detailed and one chapter...

    T/C Customer Service

After PA's Muzzleloader week I went to shoot out my T/C Renegade so I could clean it out...It is still the old style cock and the face hardened frizzen. After ten tries, I turned the flint around to a virgin edge and it went off. This was the final straw pushing me over the edge to finally send...

    I'm about to give up....

I have a T/C renegade flint. I bought the T/C 'tool' w/ the screwdriver, pan brush & touch hole reamer. I always insert the reamer before I add the powder to the barrel and I leave it there while I ram home the ball. In fact I usually leave it in place until I'm ready to prime the pan and when I...

    Prime with 3F or 4F?

When I inherited my T/C I found that dad had three cans of powder, FFg, FFFg & FFFFg. There was a brass pan charger w/ FFFFg inside so after reading up and learning how to make smoke, I stuck w/ the FFFFg. After missing a broadside shot I added T/C fiber optic sights and when sighting in I ran...
