I am retired-disabled since 2003. I'm a member of the Crooked Creek Conservation Club in Hartsville Ohio. I was raised to respect the wildlife, field, and streams. Since I was 10, I have hunted or fished almost every weekend when my Dad was still alive. He passed in 1983. I have passed on the Outdoors Man heritage to my son and grandchildren. I live on the North Coast of the United States. For those unfamiliar with the term, that means the Lake Erie shore of Ohio. In my case that is 1/2 mile south of the shoreline. <br />

My favorite BP rifle is a traditions Crockett in 32 caliber. After polishing the bore using the JB Bore Paste method and trying different patch thicknesses, I have it able to make a 5 shot ragged hole at 25 yards. I use a cast Lee .311 RB and a .012 patch. I found that the Butches 6mm / .243 cleaning patches lubed with Bore Butter, cut at the muzzle, make the accurate combo for this gun. The .012 is measured with the material compressed.
