I am a Christian, a son, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, and a brother. A carpenter by trade, a Marine by tradition, a trapper and hunter by destiny.

Although not full time work, I still have my license and a business for Wildlife Control here in Washington State to help out local farmers with beaver and muskrat damage along with predator control.

After my stint in the Marines, was a General Contractor (specializing in timber framing) in CA, retired, moved to WA with my wife to be close to her family, got into trapping.

We are bordered by a river, a creek and a lake, less than 14 miles from Mount Rainier. Although in the mountains, city life is swiftly encroaching in on the “hamlet” named Elbe that is our closest populated center…population of 29. I am not against progress, if that is what you are into, obviously I use a computer and have internet access, but we do live off the land, hunt wild game, trap and do a lot of foraging.
