Son of two CSMs(!),bought first pistol at 12 (54bore screw-barrel pocket). Started shooting in the CCF at School and playing cornet in the Military Band. Solo Cornet of the town band, conducted bands for 30 years.<br />
Qualified teacher - Head of Science in a Senior High School + running the school Brass Band.<br />
Also folk music (5-string, guitrar, dulcimer, autoharp) -- Singers' Club (Peggy Seeger & Ewan MacColl) - main interest US String Bands.<br />
Joined the MLAGB in 1963. Serious pistol-shooter then National Pistol Association and the HBSA -- "Classic shooting". Started the two major "Historic Arms Meetings" at Bisley -- wrote the Rules for 20 years.<br />

Main collection is English Revolvers + "Rook Rifles" & unusual singleshot rifles/pistols.<br />

RFD (English FFL) since 75 - "Section 5 Authorised" (= prohibited weapons), MGs, SMGs etc., pistols (since the Dunblane ban). Often had table at the Baltimore, still have one at Jan Vegas Show.<br />
