    Aging look for brass framed revolver.

    To antique brass,take about 4-5 grains to blackpowder in an open top container I use an old ashtray, light the powder and take the ash and rub it on all brass surfaces, do this a couple of times and then let sit over night.     Hi, Your main spring can be redrawn and retemper by a blackpowder gunsmith (read old guy) not a parts assembler Gunsmiths that repair older side by sides, Parker ,L.C. Smiths,and such should by able to help you
