Well, 2 more pieces of bad news.....mine is about 1 5/16 so much too big. I knew it wasn't from a "baby" flask but thought maybe they might match. Other bad news is I can't find my caliper.
Measure the internal diameter with an accurate caliper. I think I have an extra flask head around here somewhere. If they are the same size you can have it.
well fwiw remember my barrel is a 54 so a half inch dowel will be rattling around loose. we'll see, I'm not so stubborn that I discount any advice I get here. got to regain use of my arm first.

Get an adjustable powder measure. 75 grains may or may not be optimal and you'll be wanting to experiment.

October Country has a machined brass nipple cover/protector. It's meant to keep the cap dry, but it is solid and will prevent the cap from being hit. It's also about $16 more expensive than a spent .32 case.
I recently found pretty much the same baggie. The cotton had deteriorated to the point I could easily tear the patches in half with my hands with very little effort....they were a step up from toilet paper.
