    California black powder revolver laws

Well that is good to hear, I met some fine gentleman from northern California who were patrol rifle instructors. Fine men. I'm glad to know America still has a foothold there! It's a shame that it is hard to exercise your constitutional rights in some states. Black powder always seemed a safe...

Go for it Brother, not really my words. I think I got that from my older cousin Bobby when he moved out of kali. He also said "All the cowboys are gone" in kali. He was sad about it. Bobby was a real cowboy.

Chamber capacity: Remington New Model vs Colt 1860

It does seem that the Remington holds a bit more powder than the 60 army. I own both in Uberti form and love them equally!

How long do you let your powder sit in the bore between sits?

I've left my T/C flint loaded for over a year with no I'll effects. I just fired my Uberti Army after it had been loaded for almost 3 years. I don't shoot enough!

Conical bullets in a cap and ball revolver

I use and like the Kiado bullet in my Uberti NMA and 60 Army. The 60 needed a little mod to get them to fit. If you take care and load them straight they group quite well. I use the 220 and use beeswax and coconut oil for lube.

I know it was wrong, but....

That is a shame, what caliber?
