Long Range Flintlock Rifle Shooting video

Duelist1954, I enjoyed the video. When you were shooting groups; what swabbing of the barrel did you do between shots? Thanks

    Black 47

I am looking forward to seeing this film in the theater. Looks like a limited release in the United States right now. https://www.black47film.com/showtimes#trailer From the website: It's 1847 and Ireland is in the grips of the Great Famine that has ravaged the country for two long years...

    D. A. Russell

My son received a practice chanter for his 13th birthday. We just got to find time in the schedule for him to get to a bagpipe instructor. Annie Oakley doesn't know it, but a .32 Crockett is coming in the mail. Her first gun.

I'm working all weekend. But my wife sent me picks of the kids having pioneer fun. I'll try and figure out how to post them.

    Prize Table Ideas

My local club is sponsoring a regional match. Each member is to provide a prize for the table with a minimum value of $25. I know what common prizes are. What would be something that a seasoned shooter would find valuable?

    What's in your range box?

I've been using a shooting bag, but a lot of the range gear:safety glasses, ear protection, stapler, and staples for target, etc., could be better organized outside of my shooting bag.

    What's in your range box?

Thanks for all the responses. The range we shoot at is about a quarter mile walk up hill and you really don't want to forget anything. The club members are always helpful, but I'd like to be ready for something before it happens.

    What's in your range box?

While I am not new to shooting matches, I am new to taking them seriously. :hmm: With that in mind: What do you take to the range in your range box/shooting bag? (pictures of your set up are appreciated!) What's something that most shooter's overlook?

    "The Revenant" DVD/Blu-Ray

I saw it twice at the theater. It's a decent flick. One of the best things to come out of it was my friend calls me the next day. "Did you know that was based on a true story?" It will generate interest.
