    Chronograph?

Anyone have a magnetospeed chronograph. Ive got a few questions. Will they work with lead round balls and maxi's? A buddy has one and says the manual talks about jacketed bullets and steel shot. It doesn't say anything about lead. It appears that the system works magnetically. I imagine that...

    Boundary county Idaho members

I used to live in Moyie springs and Copeland in the mid 80s. Hope to get back in the next few years if the current rapid growth doesn't make it undiserable. I worked as a grunt for a cement crew building a huge log home in Good grief behind the bar. It was good times back then. Bought a...

    Lefthanded GPR and peep site

Thinking about putting a Lyman peep site on my left-handed GPR. I'm concerned the mount may interfere with the hammer. Looks like it hangs off the left side. Wondering if anyone has tried this and did it interfere? Thanks in advance.

Navy Arms (Pietta) SxS shotgun, 28" barrel - Opinions ??

I have one I bought used a few years ago. I have been very happy with it. Don't shoot it a whole bunch, but have shot some clays and grouse with it. Hope to kill a turkey with it someday.

    attaching horn to bag

I shoot left handed. I prefer to have my bag on the right and my horn on the left. It's just what feels the most comfortable to me.

    Davis Deerslayer in Lyman GPR

I just put one in a GPR and did not have that issue. Mine dropped right in without any in letting. The hammer must be cocked to set the set trigger. I don't know if this is normal ?. The factory trigger could be set before cocking. It is a great improvement over the factory trigger.

    Lyman Great Plains Rifle

I had the same issue. Mine was not a kit. I put the Davis trigger in. Made a world of difference and works like it should. Well worth the 50 bucks.

    Best inexpensive BP pistol

I've got 2 Traditions Trappers. Bought them both used at rondevouses. They are very accurate. I shoot one and my son's shoot the other. I shoot a .490 ball, .015 patch and 25 grains of FFF. I surprise myself with how accurate it is. Moose milk on the patches I can shoot about 25 shoots on a...

    Traditions St Louis rifle opinions?

I won one in a raffle a few years ago. I had no problems with it. I did end up selling it to a friend. It was right handed, my kids and I all shoot south paw. My buddy still shots it. Always goes bang and shots as straight as he holds it. I have 3 other traditions. 2 pistols and a crocket...

What is your main use for your muzzle loaders?

Relaxation. I do enjoy trail walks/rondevouses. Hunted elk twice and will again when I draw a tag. i really like the pace of muzzleloaders. Watching folks fire their 3rd shot before they aim their 1st with a black rifle just doesnt do it for me.
