Been hunting since the age of 11, started with air rifles then on to shotguns, rim and centre fire. Worked as gamekeeper, left to join HM Forces, worked in the security field for a while. Currently work at my local college, lecturing to Gamekeeping students as well as preparing students who wish to join HM Forces.<br />
I have been interested in traditional muzzle loaders for some time and due to some life changing events decided if I don't do it now when will I ? I have bought a Pedersoli Kentucky Rifle in .45 calibre. I am just waiting on getting my Black powder licence so I can get started. My dream is one day to hunt deer in the US or Canada as it is illegal to use muzzle loaders to hunt deer here in UK due to lack of muzzle energy and velocity. All the best and may your powder be ever dry.
