Last tag filled with a flintlock!

I'm not familiar with the emerald green streak on their head either but here in Wyoming we have the greater sandhill crane which is different from the Florida sandhill crane.

Where I live feeding wild animals is frowned upon. People here feed the town deer by hand and they become dependent and or dangerous. I've eaten peacock as well but crane tastes better.

So how many different wild meats have you killed, cooked and eaten?

They are also federally protected in Florida and illegal to shoot... here in Wyoming we have the greater sandhill crane and they are more of a nuisance to farmers and eat from their crops. No pets here just delicious dinner fare!

Looking through all the comments I didn't see one mention of sandhill crane "ribeye in the sky"! Y'all are missing out!

FFFFFFFFFpowder????? I just have to laugh

That's the problem. If this was just a forum for talking about muzzleloading like it should be then nothing would need to be ignored but here we are.

FFFFFFFFFpowder????? I just have to laugh

I'm personally on this forum to chat with like minded people about muzzleloading and muzzleloading related material. So I would say anything on the non-muzzleloading thread is not worthy of discussion! I would rather hear the same question 100 times or not be able to understand a question about...

    Why only one?

In Wyoming the muzzleloader season is also handgun season but only for pronghorn. No muzzleloader season for any other species.

I believe this elk would have turned 2 in June. There were noticeably smaller elk and noticeably larger elk. I wouldn't call this one a cow yet but to each their own.
