    make sure the lock parts are not rubbing / touching the stock while installed. and that the lock plate does not bend when screwed down. Double check before you reach for the Dremel.

    OK, here are some photos of the Breech Plug, back of the lock and rear sight. as you can see there is a S/N and maker marks on the Barrel and plug. Any clues? thanks
