    Mold smell.....

    Been told covering with dry fresh coffee grounds ( fresh) and keeping in a sealed bag or box works. Toss coffee grounds when done. Also works well with old musty books and documents.

    An old horn

    I've had luck using a large hose/radiator style clamp that I place around the end of the horn and then snug it up, then I've heated the horn with a heat gun; when it has softened, I tighten the hose clamp with a screw driver and can observe the progress. When I reach the point I am looking...

    Elk antler pipe

    Used one years ago and it was a fine smoke.I placed a small piece of SS screen in the bottom of the bowl, helped with the draw and seemed to keep the bottom from burning thru.

    turning horn, bone and antler

    I've also experimented with this; had some luck drilling a small hole in the piece of antler and then glued a rod or wooden dowel in place then I would place the dowel or rod in the jaws of the chuck. Very sharp tools and a light touch seemed to work the best.

    Sealing water barrel

    One trick that we use here in Grape country is when all else fails to stop a leaker, we get some bulk Cinnamon( ground powder) and mix it with the water in the leaking barrel. As the water leaks out, it carries the Cinnamon to the leaks, the Cinnamon then swells up and plugs the hole/leaks...
