I have a question for the Smoothbore crowd

Every one seems to forget the Thompson 56 cal smoothbore. Back in the day Massachusetts was smooth only BP hunting season. A lot of those were used successfully.

    T-C smoothbore Renegade

No, the .001 is taken up by the grease, I use crisco or equivalent, the variances in the ball keeps it snug. I can't remember where I got this mold. Back in the day, Massachusetts was smooth bore only for deer hunting. I think a friend of mine had it made and I ended up with it. The nice thing...

    T-C smoothbore Renegade

I've found the most accurate load for the TC 56 SB is 90 grain FF greased 28 gauge wad and a greased .559 round ball. Been using this since the 70's

    Schneider & Glassick

Never heard of this, maybe I am overthinking this but why not do just one stop? I did one notch deeper on my Remingtons. I ALWAYS rest my hammer there. Finding that one stop is equivalent to loading five chambers and resting the hammer on the empty one in my mind.

    Rhubarb Torte

Only the stalks of the rhubarb plant can be safely eaten. Rhubarb leaves (cooked or raw) contain toxins that are poisonous. https://snaped.fns.usda.gov/seasonal-produce-guide/rhubarb
