In looking at some of the Rocket forums it appears as though GOEX has long supplied Estes with a rocket propellant substance known as Meal Powder for their engines

    Tc

My first ML was a CVA .45 percussion bought from Dixie gun works for about $70 back in '73. Next was a TC Hawken flintlock kit in .50 followed by a custom flintlock by Brad Emig in PA. Finally a new in the box .50 percussion Hawken came to my home via gun broker. Of all these the TC's are the...

    Dixie Gunworks- Problems

I placed a parts order last month and the nice lady at DGW taking the order was up front about how long it would be until they were shipped. One month was the estimate and it was pretty much on time.

Stuck ball, now with drill bit

My understanding is the drill went through the ball and then it came off the homemade shaft and is stuck in the ball. Could be grease is following the flutes on the drill and passing through the ball.

    Help identifying a revolver

My understanding is you want to shave a ring of lead off the ball when pressing it into the cylinder to ensure a good seal.

    Help identifying a revolver

Looking for the proper size round ball for ASM 3rd Model revolver. I measured the mouth of each chamber in the cylinder and got a consistent 0.449". I'm thinking I should use .454" ball. Is that correct? Also what would be the recommended amount of BP for a light load?
