    Powder Manufacturers Comparisons?

    Powderinc currently lists Swiss only in 1,1.5 and 4f just over 28 dollars a pound for a full case. Costs more if you buy a smaller amount.

    Last I checked the Bass Pro aquisition was blocked by the Fed. Trade Commission and they gave up on it.

    They are not made in the same factory. Go to the Schuetzen website and poke around.

    Goex, back in business

    Remington guns are made in Ilion, NY. Caps and ammo are made at Lonoke, Arkansas. CCI are made in Lewiston, Idaho. Vista now owns both companies but the caps are made at different facilities and made to different dimensions. I very much doubt the Remington caps are rebranded.

    Don't. I bought a pound and paid the extra for "hand select". Worse flints I've ever seen. Forgot the exact count but I threw about a third right out. Another third or so are maybe usable and only the last third are good. So not such a good deal after all. Quality of modern flints is much higher

    CCI 10 caps being too small for the stock nipples is nothing new - been the case for years. Some guys get by with seating them with a hard dowel push or controlled hammer drop but my attempt at that still lead to a lot of misfires. 11's always needed a pinch to stay on. Remington 10's are...
