    You didn t ask, but I would just swab and slug out the bbl and breech and shoot it. Start with Green scrubber pads, they work.

    I took off the lock and bbl off mine, the reassembly was not right. I had your problem I don't remember which I attached first, Lock or bbl. But just a redo corrected the issue. Ennyhoo, the lock could be too tight, or bolted on some slight angle.

    Long Barrels. Long. TV and movie actors don't like carrying around long heavy bbls. producers shortened barrels or acquired short barrel rifles. eg. Tom Selleck didn't want to lug around a 14# Sharps so they made one with an aluminum barrel in Quimby Down Under. Real men.....Do not use...
