    George Lovell designed the back action lock for the 1st model Brunswick rifle and the 1838 percussion musket. I wonder if this musket of mine started life as a 1838 carbine which had 30" rifled barrel. I hope to learn more when it arrives:-)

    Gentlemen, Would you be so kind as to help me identify this unknown British percussion rifled musket? It is in .69 cal - 30" barrel, with a hooked breech and with three barrel keys. I just bought it on-line and what you see in the photos is all I know about it. Any ideas or suggestions...
