    traditionalist - Are we Loosing the Battle

    I started Muzzleloader hunting in that season way back in 1975, Bradford County. I was 15 yo at the time and had a TC Hawken .50 I still own it. Last time I hunted it was in 82 when I was home on leave. Glad to see it still going on and hope to participate again on day.

    Used TC Hawken.

    I have a 1975 50 TC Hawken, both flintlock and percussion. It has spade stamp on barrel. Right now I'm trying to find non-lead bullets that'll work well in it. I may need another barrel?

    I live in CA and purchased ITX round balls from ballisticproducts.com. Not sure what to use for a patch either. I wrote to them regarding a patches, however, they never replied back. I'm not even sure about the powder type or amount for these balls, so I'll probably be doing a little...
