Been shooting BP guns (including pistols) for around 20 years, still learning the finer points. Have taken a 4& 7 pointer with my muzzler but now my trophy type hunting I'm using my '06 unless I get lucky with BP gun. have taken 2 wild hog with BP revolvers, I have a '58 Rem 'Buffalo' model I shoot Lee mold slugs in and a Ruger Old Army that I shoot RB and Lee mold slugs in. Both are accurate & near powerful as .357, at least penetration-wise. Just wish I had more time for BP shooting and rendevous, that sort of thing. Next BP purchase? A smoothie, probably 20 ga. then a .36 rifle
