    there are good vid... on making flints. every one that shoots a flinter should learn to make his own flints. i get most of my chert from my driveway.hard gravel rocks.throws good sparks.

    Can I use grease from cooking as patch lube?

    patches soaked in gojo works best.

    gojo work s good to lube those patches. warm water and dish soap seems to be the best for cleaning boars and locks then oil with 3in 1 oil.

    Straight Peanut Oil for Patch Lube?

    I have used patches soaked with dish soap. Cleans a lot of fouling every time you run a ball down. You get a lot of shots befor e you really have to clean.

    I use patches soaked with gain dish soap.cleans the barrel every time you run a ball down. hold good groups
