Lyman GPR current production quality ?

I just picked up an Investarm Gemmer Hawken as my first muzzle loader, and first flintlock. I shot it for the first time this weekend and it shot great! Very satisfied with my purchase. A friend of mine, a flintlock aficionado, disassembled and timed the lock, and helped me to get started.

    Which first flintlock?

Thanks. As for pockets, let’s just assume I don’t have any LOL. I’m currently on a measly gun shop employee salary, so I’ll definitely be selling something else from the collection to make room for this. I’d LOVE for it to be as close to $500 or below as possible, and for that reason I’m eyeing...

WANTED WTB: Flintlock! Pedersoli or other

Looking for my first Muzzle Loader, particular for a flintlock, Kentucky rifle, .50 caliber. I was thinking about finding a traditions kit or complete, but I’ve been reading I should look for a nicer one. I don’t have the budget for a new pedersoli, but I’m open to just about anything!

Hi folks! Just found this forum! Im from Michigan and have worked in the gun industry for almost a decade now, currently managing a shop, though we don’t do any black powder items. I’ve been intrigued by history and guns my entire life, and recently learned that my family settled in...
