Location
Ohio, the land of the Shawnee
Wife and I took a day trip and picked up my Kibler Woodsrunner near Hanoverton Ohio, when we left we went to the above mentioned tavern. Man did it reek of historical coolness!! Food was amazing and service was above and beyond ( which is a rarity these days). The Inn was built around 1836 and is still in operation today, one can take your pick of four rooms to rent ( but reservations is a must) and dine with the top senators. We dined in the main hall, but roamed freely after our meal to see what all is actually there.. man there is a lot! I’ll let the pictures do my talking.

That cute lil’ blonde gal is going to think you’re stalking her, what with all the pictures and such…! o_O

Seriously though, Thank you for taking us along!

Im just venting tonight. So many little towns.....in the north east....Pa. Nj. Ny. where they were a focal point of the town and what the small things it produced to keep the region going. Stream,s and mill houses, stone block houses circa 1700,s. problem is that you cannot even think of getting one, too far priced out of the common man,s wealth. Plus restriction.s on dealing with towns on what and what you cannot do to the dwelling itself. I know Huntderdon, Warren, and Sussex Counties had /has plenty of these examples. If you exist currently on this type of property you have to have some $$$$ to keep it....
