Thank you for the kind words. I wish it turned out as I envisioned it but my skill set was not up to that level of work. I am sure yours will be excellent. I hope to see Jim's shop but the trip from NC is not a short one. I hope to go to NMLRA meet in Indiana next year maybe I can schedule a stop by Jim's on that trip.

Yes, I plan on shooting it and hunting with it.

It is fancy. One upgrade from plain maple. Jim was very generous regarding the grain in this piece of wood. Thank you for your kind words.

You have done well, Pilgrim. The rifle looks good to me. Little mistakes (big ones too) are a part of the learning process. No one is perfect.
