Mine has never even been cocked. Gold is a soft metal so I didn’t want turn lines. The minute you cock it, it would lose value. Many people say that they would never own a gun and not shoot it. But many gun enthusiasts decorate their homes with guns just for show. I have about 30 or so like that.I would have probably shot it by now.
What’s the saying?, “This is why you don’t have nice things!” I know, I know!

Nice revolver, and like you that there is a looking pistol not one for shooting.
That means that your is "1 of 50" of those particular commemorative revolvers made. The symbol is a "flourished" digit, 1.

Maybe I just don't appreciate fine art, but I think it would look nicer without the gold inlays, engraving, etc.
