I'm looking forward to attending the Gun Maker's Fair at Kempton, PA. I'll assume anyone who was a regular at the Dixon's location will be glad to be there after this hiatus due to the covid business. I drove up the 3.5 miles north of Dixon's to check out the location, and it's really nice. Very rural and the corn at that time of year is high on either side of the narrow roads! Anyone out there going for 1st time? Take cash, there's not any handy ATM's! There's a tourist railroad but don't know if it's running currently. Kempton, Wanamaker, and Southern RR. Also Dixon's is on the way up so many will pop in there, too! Good Summer to all. (Last full weekend of July)

Lots of atms in Hamburg west of kempton exit by cabelas and to the east as you pass through Allentown (before you get there)

I'm planning on being there Saturday Morning. It will be my first time. I'm super excited.

Ok here's your plan go to the Gun Makers fair before or after Dixon's Muzzleloader shop (they will not be at the fair, but will be open all weekend:thumb:) then go west young man/woman and hit Cabela's
THEN go home BROKE:horseback: and very happy

I will be there Saturday. Was at the fairgrounds lot month for The Willys Jeep Picnic and hit Dixons on the way home. Will hit Dixons after the fair again. Glad it is making a return.

I would like to go to the Fair. That weekend is the Women On Target course at my R/P club. I am showing the women how muzzle loaders work by letting them shoot at clay birds hanging on a backer board. The smiles that I see when they break a target is priceless.

I was planning to go but I will also be at a WOT event in south Jersey allowing the ladies to shoot my TC Hawken.

It’s also the same weekend as the Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous at Ski Sawmill. It’s a tough choice to make, and it’s a long drive between them if I’m going to attend both

For those attending the fair but short on hard cash for a purchase, there’s an ATM at the Krumsville Inn, located just off the Route 78 exit at the crossroads of Rt 737 and Old 22.

Why not just get a few hundred ot thousand dollars from your bank or an ATM along the way and put it in your pocket. When you get back home, deposit anything left over back in the bank?
Cash Always Works.
Especially well at places like gun shows.
Some sellers will make a better deal for cash sales.
