The woods walk video was filmed this past Tuesday. I did attend last Saturday, but, I only was there to run the cameras and pick up supplies & chat with friends. It is too crowded to shoot the 1st weekend for me.
I tried LH shooting recently & started hitting more targets. I have an eye dominance problem & figured out LH shooting works for me much better...so...LH is going to be from now on.

Welcome to the other side! It is a whole new world of adventure and fun. Folks will begin to look at you differently and may even say the devil is in you or at least look at you funny. Folks will ask how can you shoot those righty guns that way? So welcome to the right side! Thanks for the button. This ad is paid for by the BPMS fan club......Ha

Mark,
I'm glad to see you both liked the flying chickens (flickers) and that you survived all the heat!
I enjoyed visiting with you at Becky's camper.
Although, the hat would of made a fine touch to the end of your shooting!
Take care,
Robin

I was ready to wear the hat for picture...but.....I did hit it!

That's RARE for me....LOL

I figured that 96F temps & 95% humidity would drive the ol' flint guns crazy.
Plus..I can hit targets much easier with that ol' cap gun.
It needs little attention too...LOL.
Thanks for watching.

I quit going to the Spring Shoot because of the weather.
I hate sweating in the heat and humidity. Takes the fun right out of everything for me.

I attend both shoots but seldom shoot any matches except the WW.
The shade in the woods makes it pretty nice.
I LOVE hot weather anyway. I'll go back in September for another WW shoot.

I can’t do hot with humidity much any more. Hated it even when I was a teenager doing farm work.
I drip sweat and blood pressure increases to where I can hear the blood make a squirting/rushing noise in my right ear every time my heart beats.
For the last 3 years or so I go into my “ summer hibernation” from July to Sept.
I don’t do anything outside (including shooting) unless it just HAS to be done, or I am getting paid to do it and have no choice. If the rare day comes along where the temp. drops below 85 degrees I will make an exception.
I have been fortunate to have had a rare State job in Army aviation maintenance for the last couple of years that allows me to work in air conditioning every day. Much better than sweating it out in a hot hangar at 98 to 105 degrees or on a flight line climbing around on Blackhawk helicopters in similar temps like I did for years.
