Morning everyone, I figured I should introduce myself. Live out in Oregon and been into blackpowder since a kid. Folks used to have a pioneer & primitive skills gathering on the farm that has expanded over the years. Love old technology and the fun of making a cloud of smoke. Hope yall are doing good!

Welcome from Oklahoma.
Y'all must know the folks at the Muzzleloading Emporium?
I don't actually. I'm familiar with the name but haven't been down there. I'm a bit north of them. I need to take some time off and head that way. I'll be at the Heritage Fair nearby in February looking at the muzzleloaders, tanned goods etc.

FYI, the 2022 Heritage Fair has been cancelled.

Oh well thats sad! I hadn't seen that. Was excited for it. Pre pandemic, I got a beautiful neck/patch knife from a knifemaker from Lebanon that I gifted without writing down their name. Was hoping to see him again and pick some more up as gifts as it was a hit!

Welcome from SE Ohio! I lived in Oregon during the 1980s after my dad retired and moved to Aloha. I shot with the Forest Hills Black Powder Brigade until I went back to Alaska in 1992. They lost their range later, but I see they are active again. Good group of people.
