Hm. That's scary. Been on their website numerous times over the last few weeks. Thanks for the heads-up.

Buffalo Arms is about a mile down the street from me. Great folks. They did redesign their website some time in the last few months. I use Avast Antivirus and the Chrome web browser on a Windows 10 computer, and I've never had any kind virus or malware alert on their website. I've used my CC number shopping with them more than once and never had any issue. I wish I could say the same for Walmart, lol!

I know it can be faked, but if I visit them right now I get a valid SSL cite certificate issued by Cloudflaressl.com. I'd personally have no qualms about shopping their sight right now.

For some reason @Zonie removed the specific information about the specific Trojan that is (was?) present on the Buffalo website.
The Trojan is designed so that YOU DON'T see it - that's the only way it can continue to work at stealing your info.
The BANKER Trojan records your name and password and sends it to the target address in the third line of code.
Use a good anti-virus software system and then you don't have to worry about it.
The cheap or free software you see offered won't cut it. (yes - AVAST is one of those freebies that doesn't spend the resourses to stay current)
CLOUDFARES has at least 3 times in the couple of years lost it's SSL certificate
Do as you want - it was there when I visited the sight - That's the fact. Be secure in your illusions. Free is NOT always better.
It was worth the warning - it's the old horse and water story. You don't have to believe it for it to be real.

that know that we gun people are frequent users, and ae easy to hit!!!

Has anyone contacted them to let them know about the issue?
yes - I sent them an email when I found it.
I'll go back and check later today. And if it is clear - I will clearly state that fact.
It is never my intent to hurt any business - just wanted to protect our fine group of friends here from a potential threat.

I just re-checked the website.
It is still attempting to pick the pocket with a re-direct.
If your virus software is not picking this up - get a better system.

Norton 360 does not detect anything. What are you running that finds this?
I used Norton back before Peter sold out to Symantec. After Symantec bought him out it turned into an ad fest - they constantly force battered their customers with ads for a hundred different products and there was no way to shut them off. I have been told that since then they have cooled it down some because so many stopped service because of it.
I use ESET. I bought their 6 license business package and installed it on our phones, tablets and computers.
I can monitor all devices from one point and if anything on the license shows a hit, I know it and can address it.
If anything gets stolen I can lock that device off and erase it remotely. Then it sends in it's location and takes pictures of anyone that tries to use it and sends those to me and ESET to attempt to recover and prosecute the offender. The company I used to work for used this system and they had a laptop stolen. The system helped catch the bad guys and when they were raided the cops recovered several hundred stolen electronic devices that the gang had stolen from folks all over town.
The software is NOT FREE. But it has been 100% bulletproof. It gets the DAT file updated every day, sometimes more than once.
It works.

I have used BACO online numerous times no problems. Won’t hesitate to use them in the future. Just my 2 cents.
