Saw a custom Walker video yesterday. The guy in the video had a Walker with an 18" custom barrel on it, now I want one. Found the gunsmith who customizes Walkers (like the one in the video), he gets $500 (plus cost of barrel) to put the barrel on. He's out of barrel blanks right now, so maybe later this year!

From what I see from the video is the only difference besides barrel length is the 100 fps. gain in the 18 inch barrel. Is all the extra expense worth it? The penetration on the boards seems to be better with the shorter barrel.

I would love to see a couple of photos of that!

I think it might be on another forum under Walker Group or some such. I’ll check later to see if I can dig it up. It’s been close to a decade since I saw it. Always wanted to know how one would go about getting that barrel, but if all you get is an extra 100 FPS I’d be happier trying to attach a stock to the standard pistol.

Didnt Clint Eastwood or Burt Reynolds have one in the movie- City Heat? The scene where they one up each other during a gunfight by pulling out pistols with longer barrels?
First movie i saw in a theatre
