I had some delivered last week, carriage doubled, caps up 25%. My sport is starting to get expensive. What worries me is, if you have a shortage it’s going to bite here too!

I’ve had my best luck finding them locally. Most guys around here shoot inlines, so demand for #11’s isn’t very high. Several places I’ve been able to find a tin or two at pre-panic prices. I’ve struck out on powder, but have had no trouble finding substitutes. Keep looking and check places you wouldn’t usually think to find them.
Also, for those that need them, Grafs lists musket caps by the case as “in stock” as of just a few hours ago. Don’t know how long they will last.

I scored 2300 caps in a week's time at an ACE hardware in a big town in Utah. Also, check your farm and ranch stores. A lot of them have a firearms section and usually a few boxes of balls, subs and caps.
Ultimately..... they are where you find them. Make a lot of phone calls.

they have turned into a COMMONIDY!! and are turned out to be that paresis metal UNUMATAINABLE!!

some of my friends are changing out there # 10 & # 11 nipples for 14x28 MUSKET nipples! TOP HAT'S are easier to find!

Problem I saw on ebay while I was looking for other things.........vendors selling caps with free shipping. Where's the Hazmat fee???
And if the postal inspector finds them, who takes the hit? There are a number of sellers on gunbroker and eBay that apparently don’t intend to follow the rules. And while I’m sure nothing will happen during shipping, what if? What if some poor sod drops a package and a thousand caps go off? I don’t believe I want my name on it the package... anywhere...

Cabelas had some with no limit.
Free ship to store with no Hazmat fees.
If they are out, get on the "notify me" list.
Same goes for Pyrodex, 777 and Blackhorn 209.

Got one better than that. On Ebay-CCI #11 Magnum Percussion Caps Empty Packages, 2 for $30 plus $15 shipping. That's right. Empty plastic, not even the empty tins!

I have some slightly used targets maybe I can sell. Just a few holes mostly near the middle but the rest is still good.

The Scheels store is in Johnstown, Colorado. On March 22nd, Monday there were 86 packages of CCI size #11 (100 caps per package) for $5.99 per 100 and a half dozen Winchester Magnum percusssion caps, size 11 for $7.99. Sportsman Warehouse in Loveland and Thornton, Co had .530 Hornady swaged round ball for $17.99 per 100 round balls/package. Saw somewhere in the ML Forum chat line $14.99 for 100 but not a specific brand, weight or diameter (.530 or .535)

I hate to give up my sources😉, but I want to keep as many people shooting as possible. Cypress Creek Outddors in Dyersburg, Tn has CCI four wing musket caps in stock. Not sure if they do mail order or not. Gander Outdoors in Jackson, Tn has plenty of 209 primers if you need them. Both places are out of real BP but have subs and pellets. No round balls, but both places have plenty of modern conicals and sabots. Prices at both locations are relatively pre-panic. Hope this helps someone.
