Wow, I'm glad I found this forum, lots of good info and friendly & helpful people.
I am building a Traditions Kentucky rifle kit (percussion), I had some questions and found the answers here. Hopefully I will have something to add.

My first rifle was also a CVA Kentucky. Extremely accurate rifle. Best of luck from S/E Idaho

Welcome from the edge of the Catskills here in NY. My parents both grew up in Buffalo and I still have a couple of cousins there. One of my cousins is very big into shooting there, was president of a big trap / skeet club and does Cowboy shooting too.
