So, I just finished a little shot bag for squirrel hunting. The spout and plug are hand carved from popular. Just wanted to share. I still have to flatten the stitches and wet mold the leather around the spout, but I like it.

That should say poplar; oh how I hate autocorrect.
 
I like the plug ! It looks very similar to the plugs I made for a powder horn many years ago. Mine was in maple. :thumb: :cool:
