I've mostly built flintlocks and have never done this. Is there any secret or tips regarding how to place the nipple, where to drill and how to mark it? I'll bolt the lock in now, screw in the trigger, make sure they function properly and then try to figure out nipple placement before screwing and tapping. I'm doing two identical (nearly) pistols for my sons and don't want any really sad surprises at this point.

This is very interesting cause I have the same lock nad a Pecatonica Tenn Rifle stock that I need to do the same thing with. I have all the other parts I just haven't had the guts to start but seeing what you have done gives me encouragement.
