RWS or CCI musket caps, when my P53 needs to get dirty.
Remington 11s. CCI 11s have a habit of splitting across the top. Not good as this will eventually pit the hammer recess.
Now that Rem is r.i.p, will whoever got the ammo division keep making caps?

I have used both CCI and Remington. The only issue I have come across is that the CCI’s seem to be a slight taller and didn’t fit all the way down on the nipples I was using. When I shot, quite often the cap didn’t go off the first time I pulled the trigger. Also they left a black film covering the nipple opening on the second pull. I filed the diameter of the nipples down just a small bit and they both fire great now.

Shoot competition and you’ll know. CCI musket caps are garbage made for reenactors shooting blanks.
I do shoot competition. I'll have to try RWS. I've never had any problems with CCI. I never use musket caps however.
