I had to have a Tennessee rifle when I saw Dixies back in the early ‘80s. They became pretty popular, and my name Tenngun was given since I went along with the flow, that my buds kinda laughed at.
I built one but made lots of mistakes.
I just reworked it. Added a entry pipe, nose cap, toe plate and patch box.
Reworked the forestock from chunky to slim, reworked the check plate and slimed down the butt.
It still has a German lock and butt profile still wrong, but I think it looks a bit better.
Old photoed with fusil, new today, just got forth coat of oil.
