I have 2 Green Mountain drop ins and measured the ROT last night. Both are 1:48, not special ordered.

never seena GM with a 1:48 twist. Even on their site now, their current 50cal barrels are 1:70

I have an older flint Hawken with what I assume is a Green Mountain barrel. The barrel actually says THompson Center on it and inside a banner is says”round ball twist 1 in 66”. Shoots like crazy.

It’s not a Green Mountain barrel. It’s a. Roundball twist barrel from the TC custom shop Fox Ridge Outfitters.
