They say behind every joke is a bit of truth. Do you suppose those things with the corncobs, wet or dry then white + red, really occured?

Do you take toilet paper with you, or are you 100% authentic with this, too?

Used to be a forester who spent plenty of time out in the woods... My favorite (this was in the wet cascade mountains of Washington) was always moss, preferably from underneath hardwoods (fir needles aren't so comfortable). Next best choice was dried grasses, or occasionally snow if it wasn't too powdery. Leaves just seemed to be good at smearing and ripping.

I'm a wimp, always have the paper in the pack or in the big pocket half way down the leg of my cammie pants. Not a roll, but enough to get the job done twice maybe. Just remember to get your suspenders out of the way. Ask me how I know this.

Me Too. Even out in the "Civilized World" it's amazing how many places do not use anything but 1 ply (Heathens). My 2 ply kit almost always travels with me.

Snowball, or shirttail what gets tucked in normally and goes unnoticed when cut off.

For the uninitiated, never sit on a red fir stump, or log
