When did the Pennsylvania Hunter change from Octagon/round barrel to just a octagon barrel??

Don’t know what year but I’ve seen them with full octagon barrels the same length as the octagon/round barrels. I’ve also seen them with 28in 1 in 48 twist full octagon barrels where I believe they used Hawken barrel blanks to use up stocks they had layin’ around when they were ready to discontinue them.
