Got mine shot at a small camp that we did with friends. Had one of said friends join the forum to be my partner. We both shot decent but nothing to be crazy about.

Cool Ames, welcome back! Silky921 great!Ill look for your targets in the mail.

Juice Jaws; as promised, since no one volunteered to be your partner (I know there were some who said who wants me so no harm no foul) I shot my target today. I'm a little embarrassed as I did better standing offhand than I did on my other target bench shooting! BUT! I didnt score well enough to make us a winning team, sorry.

I got targets for 58 Caliber and Bledfor Days today, thanks guys!

Bledfor Days doesn't yet have a partner. Anyone want to pair up with him?

Thanks for shooting with me, but I think my target let the team down.

Naw! you and I both think alike, we shoot for fun. I considered using my muzzleloading pistol for it but I didn't want to let you down! (I've fired it all of 5 times or so and still haven't figured out its aim point.

Silky 921, I received yours and Robs target but I don't find the member name he put on the target in the forum. I also cant find the search members in the new forum so he may have joined and just not posted, I cant tell. Please have him post here or PM me so I know he's registered.(I did shoot a pm off to Angie to see if there is a member search function like the old forum so I wont run into this again)

Well, I shot a legal target after shooting the wrong target a couple days prior. They were both pretty good but the wrong one was probably a couple better. The target site had #'s 1 thru 4. The one I shot had the red bull surrounded by a black circle. I got the correct one and shot it. Ames took on this banged up, damaged, and put back together sole for a partner. I had a brain f<^>. I hope the effort is good enough. I'm not quit 100%, but real close. I need a little more strength for my day to day activities. Shootings fine with no pain, if the shot isn't held to long.

Irish, Im just glad your back to shooting at all!! Take it easy and mend, whatever score you get will be plenty good just so you shoot. (Until it becomes painful then its no fun and as much as I enjoy getting your targets, i want you to have fun!)

Any shooting is a fun time. My son's a cop. Like he and his friends say, shooting is loads of fun....until the targets shoot back. I'll stay away from the return fire target, thank you very much.

No man left behind. He always outshot me in good health. It was an honor to partner with him. He still outshot me with a bum shoulder. I knew he would.
He should change his name to Deadeye. Seriously. He shoots scary good.

A little tip for that type target. Don't shoot AT the Bull. Shoot for Perfect Center. I used my sons' .50 cal Hawken as it it a little lighter and easier for me to hold steady right now, April I'll try my .54 Lancaster, again. The Hawken sites (front post with ball top and rear flat top edge and dipped round groove) are made for that type target. I had targets from MyTargets.com. That type I had #1 and #2. I shot #2 ( Had a black circle around the bull) and had to get the #4 for the match and re-shoot that one. But when there are crossed marks (Vertical and Horizontal) the cross apex is at dead center. Place the horizontal target line on the top flat edge of the rear site. Then run the vertical line down through the center of the dropped groove of the rear site while placing the top (sight Ball) of the front site at the Apex of the lines and squeeze the trigger; shot is centered. Just practice that if those are the sites and target configure you're using. It's not that hard. This was one of the Greybeard Lessons I rec'd over the years. My Lancaster rear site is almost the same but I have a thicker blade front site. I need to run the vertical line through the center of the front site while it's centered in the deep groove. Each shooter needs to develop their own sighting Picture and work it; over and over and over again. Then you become more consistent in squeezing the trigger the first and every time the sites meet the target. I feel sorry for all those members who don't have time to shoot once a month with us.
