Flask info

Sorry if this the wrong place to post this.

I picked this flask up today to go with my Dragoon was wondering if anyone one here might know about what time period it is from the only markings on it are " B A & W New York.
Couldn't find anything on the internet about it.

Has a nifty adjustable spout on it that still works.

Not a shot flask. Shotmakes too much noise in a metallic container.
I have seem many of those brass or copper flasks for sale over the years, though.

Never thought about the noise. Just looking at the adjustments thought it might be a shot flask.
