You need to use both hands but I think not too bad. Accuracy not so good.

Why Russell, it's probably a smoothbore, just dump a hand full of buckshot in it and stand by to repel boarders! As Long John Silver said, 'Them that dies will be the lucky ones!' Geo. Nyck, as long as the match fires before the trikker pinches your fingers, you should be able to maintain a firm grasp, especially if using both hands. Might be a lovely close range rabbit gathering apparatus for the Middle Ages aficionados among us!

Now I'm picturing a firing line in high triangle.
The trigger, referred to as a "cat's tail" by the National Park service, doesn't move very far. It is actually a very controllable set up at least on a long gun. You can operate it with one or two fingers and keep the rest griping the stock. I think that pistol would be fun.
The reason I'm so smart about this is that I fired my long gun 4 times this week. It was a real learning experience for sure. 3 pan flashes and several failures to flash at all. The match has to be just right and I took it home and modified the flash pan to get it lined up better with the flash hole. I did get it to go off on the last 2 tries without a problem. Even almost hit my improvised target. I think I will be able to fire it reliably on my next try. I need to fabricate some kind of front sight, too.
