Wilderness Solutions Co. is dedicated to primitive and non-match fire starting. It began about 20 years ago with the intent of it becoming a retirement business. However, in 2007 Les Stroud demonstrated the use of a fire piston on the Alaskan episode of the Survivorman television program and interest in our products exploded to become a full time, primary business.

In addition to the fire pistons we offer bow drill kits and the best quality flint and steel kits available anywhere.

You can visit the website and see all offerings here http://www.wildersol.com/.

Free personal training and guidance is also available to those desiring to master the art of fire without matches and I have experience with hand drill, bow drill, flint and steel, burning lens and the use of natural, organic un-charred tinders.

Just like flint knapping, these fire making skills become easier once you know how and with the help of a mentor. If you have any questions - I'm here to help.

Congratulations on being the first to officially become one of the Vendors on our forum. :thumb:

For those who are not familiar with the Vendor Showcase, this is the place for vendors to show off their stuff and offer it for sale.

As folks should know, the Muzzleloading Classified Ad location is intended to be used by our members to advertise their own personal stuff.
The Classified Ad area is not intended to have ad's posted by people who are in the business of selling things for a living.

Tom A Hawk realized this and took the initiative of becoming our first official Vendor. Expect to see things he is offering for sale here and please give him your support by buying from him.

Just so I'm clear, if I want to view ads for items from our vendors, the ads will be here, not in the regular classifieds? Ads in the classifieds are for items being sold by participating forum members who are not selling these things as part of their business? Correct.

And thanks Tom A Hawk for being the 1st, and for your support of this forum.

That's correct.
Just a question, not trying to go down the contentious route we were on elsewhere. Is there a standard of pc/hc for the products that can be sold here? (The section in general not by Tom A Hawk in particular) Not necessarily on the quality but on being a reasonable representation of at least the forum's broad time period?
