Pedersoli Kentucky Flintlock Pistol Kit .45 caliber, maple (not the standard walnut) stock with brass furniture, The brass parts were finished but that's all. $350

Please add $15 for shipping to the continental USA where legal. No trades. Price is final. Arthritis in my thumbs unhappily prevents me from finishing the kit. :-(

Crow Beads,
Sorry about your hands getting sore. Good price for the Maple stocked Kit. I'm tempted, but my hands are Arthritic as well. Did you de-burr the brass parts and polish or did they come that way already? I've got so much going on with other projects I probably don't need to take on any more at this time. Very tempting though. I'm sure someone will buy this from you. Good luck.

The brass parts were pretty rough. I wanted this pistol as a companion for my TVM .45 cal Early Lancaster. I guess I'll just have to continue borrowing my wife's Pedersoli Kentucky pistol. It's walnut and caplock but still a fine piece.

Someone will buy this kit and finish it, then you can buy a finished, KY pistol from a Pedersoli with flint lock.

I will reduce the price to $310 plus $15 for shipping. That's as low as I am willing to sell the kit for. I've just got far too many guns and am not getting any younger.

Should the pistol still be available I would be interested. I would like to know the rate of barrel twist.

Good for you Crow Beads! It was a great price for the kit, and you had already done most all the metal work. I'm glad you found a new home for the kit. I was very tempted, but my hands are still sore from the polishing I was doing on my Charleville pan he other day. I'm getting very selective about projects I will subject myself the the pain that follows. Gettin' old sucks, but of course there is only one alternative to that.......dying young, that sucks even more! LOL Now you can re-invest that money in a finished flinter so you won't have to borrow your wife's. All's well that ends well. :)

Thanks, been busy, we had two funerals in the family recently. Wife has been ill. Just busy, busy! Good to be missed though. Hey, keeping me straight, and out of trouble is a full time job ya know!
