Grimord
No I do not plan on attending. I never have attended before. Have done any Rendezvous in the last 10 years, health issues. I have gotten rid of most of my equipment. I hope to make the Northeastern in Goshen for public day.

See: http://www.originalnepr.com/index.html#anchor_228 for more info. Looks like public day is Sunday May 26. This Rendezvous is (or at least was) quite strict about being period correct. "Public" would be flatlanders or non-period correct people.
We are in Woodstock. I will post here when we get it together to hold a shoot. We will be having some informal get togethers also if you are intetested.Johnhalf:
Where is your club in NE CT? Do you hold shoots? If so, please let me know cause I am always looking to go some place new to shoot and meet new people that like to shoot muzzleloaders.
Sharon Mountain is only interested in talking to you at one of the 2 events they hold, I asked if they had anyone that was willing to meet with and or educate someone new, I was told I'm welcome to come to an event.
I would prefer to be involved more then twice a year.
I have yet to actually meet anyone involved with Sharon Mountain, so I can't say what kind of people they are. If you have other contacts that are more welcoming, feel free to pass my information along.
After spending 3 1\2 years, mostly alone, going through surgeries and treatment to become a 2 time cancer survivor, it would be nice to spend time with people that share a common interest.
A "one man club" sort of defeats the goal of trying to increase participation in my area.
How about this, an active club that is sort of close , reaches out and offers to help bring their successful program to other local clubs, that would be a positive step in helping increase participation.
Will do. Do you, or anyone, have the info for Frozen Toe this year? The website still shows 2018...Definitely interested. Keep me informed.
