Howdy folks, Two Feathers here:

Rondy season is coming on fast, so don’t pass this one by. These sell pretty fast.:+)))) Its a small Elk antler Flintlock Pan Primer. This would be ideal for some shooter with a more “Petite” firearm, or just to do a woods walk or shoot for the day? The price is $62.00 shipped in a padded envelope. I made it from a single Elk antler tine. It has a nice spalted Maple cap. I left the antler pretty much “natural,” I DID slightly antique it.

There is a 3 grain charging valve, that’s filled through the body by unscrewing the knurled cap, then carefully removing the cap, plunger tube and spring. I’ll include written instructions and a tiny funnel to aid in filling the primer.

My Disclaimer, as always: This primer IS NOT to be used for any powder size other than FFFFg. BUT, I’m told these primers work fantastic with FFFg. A number of my customers use these regularly for priming with FFFg. without any issues. One customer just told me he uses FFg. in his. But I’m just giving you the valve manufacturer’s warning to avoid future issues. Again manufacturer’s warning: Trying to use these for some different grain size will jam them up and they will not work. That’s BS but I have to make you aware of the mfg.’s warning.

The entire primer measures 3-1/8” long, cap to valve base. The base cap measures approx. 1-1/8” X 3/4”. These are ALL approximate measurements with a ruler. It should fit in your shooting bag or pocket nicely.

I wanted to make these a little more affordable to my customers, so I’ve included (at no additional cost) a forged staple for carrying or tying to your bag.

The Maple plug/cap is held on with 8 tiny, solid Brass nails.

I take PayPal, MO’s or checks.

This item cannot be shipped to Canada. If interested, please PM me here. As always, thanks for looking.

God bless:

Two Feathers

It's still perfect, let me know when have one a little smaller for my pistol set.
Meangene1969:
I'm happy to hear that your primer is still in good shape. Well, this one is about as small as I can make it? It only measures 4" from the base of the valve to the absolute end of the cap. Anything smaller would be about impossible to make and still hold enough powder to be useful? This one should hold about 150 grains of FFFFg. Smaller than that, MIGHT???? hold 50 or 60 grains, but I have NO idea how I'd make one that small?
Let me know if none of this makes any sense?
God bless:
