This is an interesting box copied from one in Valley Forge (Neumann) collection I had the privilege to inspect about 25 yrs ago. It is British and has been adapted from a standard waist box by nailing straps on the back and iron buckles on the bottom. buckles are forged and strap is heavy bandsman leather alum tanned. Hand stitched with 5cord Linen. Block is walnut, holes are 3/4 by 2 1/4. I have 2 of these -$135.00-$115.00 shipped paypal, check or cash.
